Meet the Team
Mike Wilburn, Ph.D.
Founder and Lead Developer of Properties
In his second decade as a Certified Licensed Contractor in Florida and owning an Engineering Design company based in Florida, Mike has a heart to help local churches grow and maximize kingdom impacts with their existing and future spaces. He has previously served the local church as a Youth Pastor, College Pastor, Senior Pastor, and has worked with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary as an Extension Center Director and Adjunct Professor. Over the last twenty years, Mike has assisted in the design and or construction for dozens of churches. He is happily married to Donielle, and they have three children. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and traveling together.
Jody Dean, Ph.D.
Lead Optimizer of Programs
Having several decades of experience in the local church, Jody Dean teaches courses in administration, risk management, and discipleship. He is originally from North Alabama and has served churches in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippis. As coeditor of Together We Equip and coauthor of Protect, as well as a contributor to several other works, he has a desire to help ministry leaders and lay leaders be equipped for serving the church. He serves as an Associate Professor of Christian Education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Emily and they have two children.
Hal Stewart, Ph.D.
Lead Cultivator of People
Hal Stewart is a life-long educator with decades of experience in church ministry administration and discipleship, K-12 education, and Christian higher education. He is originally from South Carolina and has lived in Kenya (East Africa), North Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana and now - Florida. He currently serves as executive pastor and headmaster at Church at the Cross in Orlando, Fl. He’s a former IMB missionary, science teacher, coach, athletic director, and assistant principal. He’s been married to Julie for 26 years and has three children. He’s co-edited the book Together We Equip (Westbow Publishing, 2018), which is an exploration of local church ministry leadership and discipleship. He has also contributed to Parenting Teens magazine, Small Church Excellent Ministry, and Becoming an MVP in Disciplemaking. His hobbies and interests include reading books, playing Fantasy Football with friends and spending time with my family. He thrives when talking about spiritual formation, K-12 education and discipleship in the local church.
